What Riffboard is

Riffboard is a desktop workspace for capturing and arranging musical ideas as notation. Short performances become movable cards — called Rifflets — that show standard notation and guitar tablature, keep their original audio, and live on a spatial board where they can be moved, clustered, and connected into playable sequences.

Why it exists

Musical ideas often disappear while musicians are opening recording software, configuring tracks, or preparing a notation editor. The moment between playing something worth keeping and having somewhere to keep it is exactly where ideas get lost.

Riffboard is designed to preserve the idea first and postpone complexity. Capture is a single focused act; everything else — arranging, connecting, reading — happens afterward, at whatever pace the idea deserves.

Studio
